The Meadows Hotel

Who is a Hometown Hero? Someone who loves their hometown and goes above and beyond to make our town a better place. The Meadows is very pleased to announce our very first hometown hero is Erin Chenoweth Hancock! Erin, who hails from the greater Cincinnati area, met Sam Hancock, a Fulton native, while both were attending the University of Kentucky. It was love at first sight and they married when still in college. Erin moved to Fulton with Sam and started their family. Erin has always had a passion for the Arts. Here she started Broadway Dance Company. Over the years, the dance troupe under Erin's direction has grown to over 160 young ladies. They have appeared at Disney World and Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Sam and Erin wanted to save the old Woman's Club building in Fulton, so Erin then pursued opening Theater Off Broadway where now most performances are to a sold-out crowd. We are spot lighting Erin for single handedly bringing the arts back to the Twin Cities. Please join us for dinner on
Saturday, April 27 as we celebrate Erin and her many accomplishments. 10% of our sales that night will be donated to Theater Off Broadway.

A History of Our Hotel

relax in history with modern luxury

The Meadows Hotel has been part of the Fulton, KY landscape since 1901.  Built by Mr. W.W. Meadows, it was a fine 100 room hotel to serve the guests of the Illinois Central Railroad, riding on 32 passenger trains a day.  In 1933 a massive fire destroyed two-thirds of the building, leaving only what you see today.  In February 2016, Mr. Jeff Campbell, a lifelong resident, acquired the property and oversaw a complete reconstruction project, to bring the Meadows back to life.  Today the Meadows is a historic boutique hotel with 20 luxurious rooms, and a full-service bar and restaurant.  Our dedicated staff works daily to ensure our standards of luxury are high, to ensure each guest will enjoy and appreciate their stay.

Relax in History

The Meadows Hotel features 20 rooms, each styled as authentically as possible to a different time period. Our guests can stay 20 times and have a different experience each time.

Modern Luxury

While the Meadows is steeped in history, we strive to offer every modern convenience, such as high thread count linens, free wifi, tiled walk-in showers, natural stone surfaces in each bathroom and flat panel TVs.

World Class Dining

The Meadows Hotel is also home to our full-service restaurant and bar.  Catering to area residents as well as our hotel guests, we feature everything from signature cocktails to unique entrées that are constantly changing.  We know you’ll find our restaurant and bar a special place to bring your family and friends.

Testimonials

For years the Twin Cities has badly needed a quality, full service hotel. I think I can speak for our entire community when I say we are so thrilled to see the Meadows Hotel open. This is a unique property within a 100-mile radius of Fulton. This historic boutique hotel contains 20 rooms, which are individually unique and different. The bar and restaurant located in the hotel is an upscale bar and dining experience. I have worked with Jeff Campbell for years now, and can tell you one thing you can count on – this is a special place like no other.

Thea Vowell, Executive Director Twin Cities Chamber of Commerce

My vision for the Meadows Hotel is simple. We want our guests to relax in history with modern luxury. We want to provide a unique experience of a historic boutique hotel, with 20 rooms individually appointed. Service excellence is our passion. Whether you’re in our rooms, dining in our restaurant, or enjoying our upscale bar, we want you to feel our southern hospitality. Bust most of all, we want you to come back to the Meadows Hotel in Fulton again and again.
